Change (02/05/2012)

I’m reading Bill Bryson’s At Homeat the moment.

I picked it because I thought it would be funny, although it’s turned out to be much more interesting than humorous. One of the initial ideas it raises is around change. For years humanity stayed roughly the same. It’s only really in the last few years that we’ve advanced so much.

I’m reminded of the importance of keeping moving. If you sit still, you’re slowly dying. It’s only by changing that you can improve things.
