I went to an Apple conference about apps last week.
Arriving at Apple HQ we asked one of the staff where to go. She turned up her nose as she asked “is it a business thing?”
During the meeting I achieved an ambition when I told Apple “you’ve broken the Internet”.
I mean it slightly facetiously but there’s a serious point. Apps break many of the things that the web fixed. It reminded me that sometimes we un-learn things. And we need to make sure we remember these lessons.
Looking back on my projects I need to remember and reapply things I’ve learnt before. If I fix something once I need to make sure I keep that fix in the next project.
